We came up with what we think are some fun ideas for using the Trading Spaces theme music in the promotion and wanted to share.
A little background: We love Trading Spaces. Not only are we big fans, but we’re also proud of the role we played in arranging the original music way back in 2000. We know the rebooted open has already been commissioned, but we still wanted to contribute some ideas. We centered our brainstorm around the “Ba-da-da-dat-da” theme and its vocalization. We had a lot of fun in the process and hope the ideas could be of some use. We also included some music demos with the theme. We’d love to hear what you guys think!
-Current hosts could each vocalize the theme with #BaDaDaDatDa for social. Instagram has a poll feature that could be fun (e.g Sabrina’s theme vs Paige’s theme).
-Ad sales mashups of sponsors themes – The Trading spaces theme using The Home Depot instruments – Farmers insurance vocalizing the theme of trading spaces (“We. Are. Farmers. #BaDaDaDatDa”)
-“Alexa play the Trading Spaces theme”.
-Compose a downloadable full length song
-Compose a variety of Opens that could be polled on Social
-Contra/UGC social content – “Trading Dorm Rooms” –College YouTubers invited to deck out each other’s rooms.-We supply music and design bumpers that they could use in their edit.-In exchange for producing the content, we will provide cross promotion of the best ones through low-level targeted paid campaign.
-Trading Spaces Snapchat filter with accompanying #BaDaDaDatDa music
